European Accessibility Act

Coburg Marketing is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Bavarian E-Government Ordinance (BayEGovV), the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV 2.0), and the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). The European Accessibility Act applies to www.coburgmarketing.de and www.coburgmarketing.de/en. We are continuously working on improving the accessibility and inclusivity of our website for all users.

Non-accessible content

Some PDF files and documents are not yet fully accessible. While we have made efforts to ensure they are as accessible as possible, they may still contain some barriers. If you encounter a document that presents an accessibility issue, please contact us. We will do our best to provide the content in a suitable and accessible format.

Certain content, such as maps, is currently not fully compatible with screen readers. Maps and aerial imagery integrated into the pages as alternative visual representations of contact details and locations may not meet all accessibility standards. However, addresses or location information are generally also provided in plain text alongside the visuals.

We strive to ensure that all images are accompanied by alternative text for use with screen readers. If you come across an image that does not provide alternative text, please inform us.

The audio files in our podcast series do not currently include subtitles. We are actively working on providing full transcripts of these files.

Colour contrasts and keyboard navigation are not yet optimised on some pages.

Depending on the image’s contrast, copyright information may not be clearly legible.

The website’s content is currently not available in plain language or easy-to-read formats.

Not all interactive elements can be operated using the keyboard only.

In the case of fact-based elements, such as animated counters, numbers increase automatically and cannot yet be paused.

Heading tags (H1, H2, etc.) are correctly structured on the German-language pages. We are currently revising the heading structure on the English-language pages, which means the correct hierarchy of headings may not yet be fully in place.

Visual support tools

Font size: You may be looking for an icon to change the font size. We have opted not to include one as the text can easily be enlarged by at least 200 % in any modern browser. To zoom in, press CTRL +, to zoom out CTRL -, and to reset the zoom level use CTRL 0.

Navigation options: The menu provides an overview of most pages on the website. Each page also displays a breadcrumb trail below the header image, showing the path to the current page.

Search function: A search icon is located in the website header. Clicking it opens a search field (lightbox) on the active page. Simple, single-line input fields for search terms support an auto-complete function. Suggestions appear below the input field and can be selected directly. After typing the first three letters of a search term, suggested full terms would appear. These suggestions are generated independently of any filters from the advanced search and can lead directly to results. Search results are sorted based on relevance as determined by the search engine’s ranking algorithm.
