State archives in the former arsenal built 1616-1621 in the style of the Late Renaissance; reading room with historical charm; commemoration of the state administration, centre for historical regional research with archival documents from the 12th-21th century: The state archives currently preserve 400,300 items of archival significance including 14,200 official documents, 9,200 maps and plans, and 12,000 photographs and pictures, approx. 4,000 running metres in total.
