Headquarter of Coburg Marketing with tourist information office
Both the tourist information office and Coburg Marketing are accommodated in a Renaissance building, and in its cellar, remains have been found dating from the late Gothic period. Rebuilt in the 16th century following a fire, it housed the ducal tavern, the imperial postal service, a printers and it was occasionally a home to wealthy citizens. In 1976 it was acquired by the town. The tourist information office has been housed in the building since 1977. (Herrngasse 4)
