16. Museumsnacht

16th Museum Night

This year, Coburg's most beautiful night celebrates the "International Year of Glass" proclaimed by the United Nations and the world-renowned 5th Coburg Glass Prize. It is the most important competition for contemporary glass art in Europe and there are also unique attractions along a "glass path" from Ehrenburg Castle to Veste Coburg.

Kongresshaus Rosengarten

Coburg's conference centre

The conference centre has been a social, cultural and economic centre in Coburg since it was first built in 1962. It reopened again in 1987 after a two-year renovation project. This small but attractive complex is an impressive proof that the Kongresshaus Rosengarten can be the perfect setting for successful events.

Studio stage with charm

The studio stage of the state theatre captivates with its atmosphere and entertaining shows. There is virtually no separation between the audience and stage, allowing easy interaction between both and providing scope for various open forms of theatre.
