The summer festival season starts with a bang at the end of April with the spring festival. Rides, fairground booths and musical entertainment are all well a worth visit to Ketschenanger. Take a stroll across the spring festival from April 24th to May 5th.
It’z Jazz
Extraordinary music experience
What started as a jazz night has now grown into a full-fledged festival with musical greats. Every year Coburg welcomes some of the biggest names in jazz, including Salvador Sobral, Max Mutzke, Fred Wesley or Adam Bałdych. The IT'Z Jazz Festival returns in 2026 and promises to be another unforgettable musical highlight in Coburg. Experience top-class jazz and listen to outstanding artists!

HUK-COBURG OPEN AIR SUMMER
Concert highlights
Every year, Coburg hosts international stars at the HUK-COBURG open air summer. Elton John, Joe Cocker, a-ha, James Blunt, Pink, Sarah Connor, Sido, Sting and many others have all performed here. This year, the concerts will take place at Kulturfabrik Cortendorf from 17th to 21st June, on palace square from 26th to 28th June, and from 27th to 30th August.

A hub of performing arts
The distinctive round building at Nina Bellosa Square serves as one of the venues for the Coburg State Theatre during its extensive refurbishment.
