Heiligkreuzkirche

Short facts

  • Coburg
  • Churches, Sights
This late Gothic church dates back to 1401; at the time it was built just outside the city gates. In the 18th century the interior was remodelled into a “Margrave style” hall church. The alteration work created architectural asymmetry on the inside and outside of the church, giving it its idiosyncratic and interesting appearance.
