The Stone Bower, located on Neugasse just off the Münzmeisterhaus archway, is Coburg’s oldest still-standing privately-owned building.

Built in the 13th century in the style of late Romanesque civil architecture, the exact date of its construction is unknown. The building’s impressive, stepped gable and distinctive Gothic elements make it a unique landmark in the town.
